USER:

I don’t remember my password to enter the extranet. What can I do?
If you remember your user name but you don’t remember your password you have to click on the field “Registered User” and click on “forgot your password?”. The password will be sent to the email address which is associated to your user extranet. Write down the user name and the question you chose while registering will appear and when you answer it we will show your password. If you don’t remember your user or your password, you must send us an email to nic@entorno.es from the email associated to your user extranet and we will facilitate your user name in order to recover your password.

Must I have my contact data updated?
It is important to have your contact data updated, take into account that the email address which associated to your user will be the one to receive all the alerts related to your domains: payments, renewals, modifications, etc.

Must I fill in the invoice data?
By default the data which is included on the field “Invoice Data” will be the same as the “Contact Data”. If you would like to receive your invoices with another person’s name or company name you must modify this field.
The data which appears on “Invoice Data” will have an effect on all the invoices from all your extranet domains.

Who are the invoices emitted to and how can I modify the billing data?
Invoices are emitted with the existing data on the field “billing data”. If you want to modify the data you simply have to change them in this field and click on “Continue”. The changes are done automatically and the new data will appear on the new invoices. These changes don’t affect the previous invoices.

How can I look up my invoice?
To look up your invoice you have to click on the option “Accounts Administration (Billing). A searcher will appear where you will be able to choose the type of operation, concept or domain name and a searcher by date. To search for your invoice you have to write on the concept the domain name and an approximate date on the domain registtration. Click on “See Operations”, a new window will open with the associated operations to that domain and the correspondent invoice.
By clicking on the invoice number you will be able to see the invoice on PDF format, which you will be able to print, save or send by email.

How can I deposit money on my account and where do I see the deposited amount?
To deposit money on your account you have to click on the option “Accounts Administration (Billing)”and put the amount you want to deposit on “deposit amount”. Click on “make” and choose the way of payment. If you do so by Credit Card your data will be sent encrypted to the banc’s web, to make it safer and immediate. If you do so by a banking transference we recommend that you send us a receipt of the transference by fax indicating the reference TRA. This way we can make the deposit quicker. The amount deposited will be seen on “Available”

I want to pay a service with my available, but I’m not able. How I can?
If you want to pay a service with your available, but you don’t have enough, you have to deposit money to the difference of the total sum to pay.

How can I see my extranet on another language?
To view your extranet on another language you can change it above on the right hand. You can choose Catalan, Spanish or English.

How can I change the language of reception of messages?
To change the language of reception of messages click on “Contact’s Data” and select the language you desire on “Communication Language”, click on “Continue” and since then you will receive our notifications on the chosen language.

How can I change the user’s data?
To change the user’s data click on “Contact’s Data”, the data you actually have will appear. You can modify the data and click on “Continue”. The changes will be done automatically.

How can I know the prices Entorno Digital offers?
To know the prices we offer you can enter on the field “rates” of your user account and see the prices for each domain.

DOMAINS:

I want to register a domain for my client.
You can register domains for different clients on your extranet. Take into account that the holder data must be the owner’s data, because a posterior correction of the holder name involves a holder change.

Can I register different domains with different holders?
Yes, every domain you register can have a different holder, taking into account that the invoice will be sent to the person who appears on the field “Invoice Data” on your extranet.

How can I make a holder change for a registered domain?
To make a holder change of a registered domain in Entorno you can request it through the field “holder change”, calling 902 115 137 or by nic@entorno.es. We will send you the documentation and we will inform you of what you have to do briefly. For your own safety we don’t allow changing the domain holder directly through the extranet.

How can I modify a contact of a registered domain?
To modify a contact you must click on “domain management”.
A searcher will appear where you will be able to write the domain you want to modify. Once you have done this click on the first icon “domain information modification” a form will appear with the contacts and the DNS of this domain. You have to click on “Enter New Contact Information” and a form will appear where you can introduce the new data. Finally you will have to click on continue and the change will be done automatically. If you want to change a contact by another which already exists and know his identifier, you have to click on “Change for Existing Contact” and introduce the ID on the field which appears, Click on “Continue” and the change will be done automatically. You can change the administrative, technical or billing contact. You must know that each type of domain has his specific encryption, so, the ID of a .com contact can’t be used for an .es or a .eu for an .org

I have mistaken while creating a domain but I haven’t paid it. How can I erase the request so it doesn’t appear as an order pendant of payment?
To erase a domain you have mistaken while creating it you can erase the request and then it will not appear as an order pending of payment. You have to click on “Requests” and look for the mistaken domain, to erase it click on the cross and on “accept”.

How can I modify the DNS of a registered domain?
To modify the DNS of a registered domain you have to click on “domain management”. A searcher will appear where you will be able to write the domain you want to modify. Once you have done this click on the field “Domain DNS Setup”, a form will appear with the contacts and the DNS of this domain. You have to go to the end of the form and introduce the new DNS’s on the field “New Data”. Finally click on continue and the change will be done automatically. Although the DNS fields are empty you must enter the information on the field “New Data”. If you change the DNS they spread through Internet in 24/48 hours.

What is an IDN domain?
An Internationalized Domain Name (IDN) is an Internet domain name which contains not ASCII characters. These types of domains can contain characters with accents or specific letters of a language, for example “ñ” which is required in many European languages, including Spanish or Catalan. In our application we have incorporated the following Spanish and Catalan characters for all the domain extensions that have them.
The new browsers versions and e-mail clients already recognize these characters.

Can I transfer an IDN domain?
You can transfer an IDN domain as long as we support the IDN on your domain extension. For example, if you want to transfer a .com domain with a Spanish specific character, you will be able to do so, because we have the Spanish IDN for .com. if you want to transfer a .com with a letter form the Greek alphabet, you will no be able because we don’t support those characters.
To do the transference you must follow the same transfer process as for a normal domain, depending on the type of extension.

What is a backorder?
A backorder is a domain request for a domain which has not been renewed, but has not been liberated. The day it is liberated the request is sent in order to be first and register it.

What is a country code top-level domain (ccTLD)?
A country code top-level domain (ccTLD) is an Internet top-level domain generally used or reserved for a country or geographic zone. There are more than 200 territorial extensions which you can register in order to be recognised all over the world or to protect your commercial trademarks. Each extension is controlled by normative and different prices, following the established norms by the register which manages the extension. On Entorno Digital you can register more than 150 extensions for domains from different countries.

RENEWALS:

How long can I renew my domain for more than a year?
Yes, as long as the domain extension allows it. Nowadays, you can do so for domains .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .tv, .cc, .es, .cat, .mobi, .tel, .asia and some ccTLD domains.

Can I forward my renewal?
On the field “Administer domain” you can choose the domain you want to renew in advance, click on “Advanced Renewal” and the request will be generated automatically which will appear on the field “Orders” in order to pay it.
The majority of ccTLD or .eu domains cannot be renewed on advance.

My domain has expired. How can I get it back?
The domains .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .tv, .cc, .mobi, .asia, .me, .cat and .tel, can be renewed with the same price during the following 20 days alter the expiration date. You must send us an email to nic@entorno.es so we can modify the order manually and pay it through your extranet. 20 days after the expiration date your domain enters the RedemptionPeriod, and if you want to recover your domain you will have to restore it.

- Los dominios .es: Domain .es: 10 days alter the expiration date, if they are not renewed ESNIC will discharge de the domain.

- Domains .eu: The day after the expiration date the domain enters the REDEMPTIONDPERIOD. The following 40 days to the expiration date you can recover your domain restoring it.

- The other ccTLD domains must be checked in each case.

How do I restore of my domain?
In order to restore your domain you must click on the field “Recover Expired Domains” on your extranet and you will see your expired domain. Select the domain you want to recover and click on “Recover Domain”. This action will create a new order which will be pending of payment on the field “Orders” on your extranet.
Once the order is paid the restore will be done and the domain Hill be renewed for a year. The duration of the restore process depends on the domain extension; it can last between 24 and 48 hours.

AUTOMATIC RENEWALS:

What is an automatic renewal?
The automatic renewal system offers the possibility of forgetting about paying manually your product renewals.
If you choose automatic renewals, when a product enters the renewal period, the payment will be done automatically as long as you have enough money on your extranet deposit.

How can I activate the automatic renewal for my domains?
If you want to renew automatically all your domains on your extranet you must go to the Automatic Renewals menu and click on the field “Choose Modality” and cose the option “YES”.
If you want some domains to renew in a different way you will have to click on “Product List” and select it manually.

What is the Alert Threshold?
You can choose this option if you want us to send an email when the amount you have on your deposit is reaching a minimum quantity. This alert will help you have a better planning for your request payments.
To activate it introduce the quantity on “Deposit Money Threshold”.

TRANSFERS:

What do I need to transfer my domain to Entorno?

.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .tv, .cc, .cat, .mx, .mobi, and .tel
You must take into account the following steps:
- The domain must be activated (unblocked).
- The domain name has been registered for at least 60 days, and has been at Dotster for at least 60 days. Request the “Authorization Code" to the domain registrant.

.es
The email address from the administrative contact must be activated; because ESNIC will send you an email in order to accept the transfer.

.eu
Eurid will send an email to the domain holder in order to accept the transfer.

ccTLD domains

How long does the domain transfer take?

.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .mobi, .tv, .cc, .mx, .tel and .cat
The transference can last 5 days maximum.

.es
The transference requests have a period of 10 days maximum.
The transfer is done once the PCA accepts.

.eu
The transference requests have a period of 14 days maximum.
The transfer is done once the PCA accepts.

ccTLD domains
Depends on the domain extension. Check with us in each case.

How can I transfer a domain .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .mobi, .cat, .mobi, .tel, .mx, .me, .cc or .tv?
To transfer a domain with one of these extensions, first of all you have to ask for the auth info to the current register. Then, click on “domain transfer” write down the domain and on the following window put the auth info. Afterwards, if it is necessary, write down the holder data and how they appear on the current whois, write down the contacts you desire and click on “continue”. Then click on “orders” and pay the transference. In a period of five days Entorno will be the register of that domain and the domain will remain renewed for another year automatically.

How can I transfer a domain .es?
To transfer a domain .es you must click on “domain transfer” and write down the domain you want to transfer. Briefly you will receive an email from Esnic to the administrative contact’s mail with a link you will have to click on. From that link you will be able to accede to a web from Esnic where you have to log in with the nic-handle and password of the administrative contact and accept the transference.
The transference doesn’t have to be paid and the domain is not renewed for another year, unless the domain is on renewal period. If it is on that period the transference must be paid and the domain is renewed for another year.

How can I transfer a domain .eu?
To transfer a domain .eu you must click on “transfer domain” and write down the domain you want to transfer and fill in the request. After that, click on “Orders” and pay the transference. You will receive a mail to the holder’s email to accept the registering change and in a few days the domain will be transferred. The domain is renewed for another year since the transference date.

I have paid a transfer and it gives me an error because the auth info is incorrect how can I modify it?
To re-enter the auth info click on “Requests”, look for the transference request, and click on “Modify Request” put the correct auth info. Then click on “Orders” and pay the transference with the money we had returned to your available. It will be sent and if the auth info is correct the transference will be done in five days maximum.

Can I transfer an IDN domain?
Yes, as long as we support that IDN on the extension of your domain. For example, if you want to transfer with a specific Spanish character on a .com you will be able because we have the Spanish IDN for .com, but if you want to transfer a .com with a character from the Greek alphabet, you won’t be able because we don’t support those characters on our application.
To make the transference you have to follow the same process as the rest of transfers depending on the extension.

My domain is about to expire, can I transfer it?
In order to make the process quicker and safer, the expiration date should not be really close. In any case and depending on the actual registrant, the transfer should be available 1 day before the expiration date, because the domain enters the Pending Transfer state and when it is transferred to the new Registrant Agent he will assume the renewal.

HOLDER CHANGE:

What documents does a holder change require?
The generic domains don’t require any documentation.
The documents required for domain .es can be found on our website or on your extranet on the field “Holder Change”.
These documents must be filled in, signed and accredited by the actual and new owner of the domain.

Holder change procedure:

Generic Domains (.com, net, org, info, biz, cat….)
It is requested on the field “Holder Change” on your domain extranet, you select the domain and introduce the new holder data. This will generate a new order for “Holder Change” and will remain “Pending of Payment”. The payment will generate two emails which must be accepted, one by the old holder and the other by the new one. Once both emails are accepted, the change will be done automatically.

.es Domains

We can only make an owner change if the domain's Accredited Registrar is Entorno Digital. Otherwise, the first thing you should do is transfer in the domain name.

An owner change can be done through your domain extranet. You can request it clicking on “Holder Change” and introduce the holder’s new data. After payment the domain transfer will start.

Actual registrant or administrative contact will received an email send by Red.es to confirm o refuse the transfer process, clicking on the provided link the user will be redirected to http://www.nic.es system to validate the action. In order to access to the system an Id and Password is required, if you forgot it you can recover it at https://www.nic.es/sgnd/login.action

Owner change application, New Holder

New administrative contact will received an email send by Red.es to confirm o refuse the transfer process, clicking on the provided link the user will be redirected to http://www.nic.es system to validate the action. In order to access the system an Id and Password is required, if you forgot it you can recover it at https://www.nic.es/sgnd/login.action

If you confitm it you should accept Red.es terms and conditions.

.eu Domains
The procedure for a holder change for a domain .eu can be done through your extranet: “Trade domains .eu”. The trade allows the transfer of a domain to Entorno and at the same time a holder change.

The domain is renewed for a year since the date of the domain trade.
If the domain is in Entorno, this option will also be used to do the holder change.

Steps: Write down the name or domains names to a maximum of 25 domains, then, select them and click on “continue”.
On the form you must fill in the holder, contacts and DNS, taking into account that this data will affect all the associated domains.
Once the form is filled in an order will be created which will remain “Pending of Payment”. Once the payment is done the application will send the petition to Eurid.
Eurid will send an email to old and new holder in order to accept the change, once it has been accepted by the two parts the change will be done automatically.

What data can I modify of my domain?
Everything except for the Holder name.
If you want to update any data from the holder, except for the corporate name, send us an email to nic@entorno.es and we will update it.

How can I modify a contact?
On the field “Domains Management”, select the domain you want to modify, the domain’s data will be shown and you will be able to change the contacts by introducing the new data.

How can I modify the DNS information?
On the field “Domains Management”, select the domain you want to modify, the domain’s data will be shown and you will be able to change the DNS by introducing the new data. It is essential to inform of the IP addresses when the server extension is the same as the domain which is being modified.

How long does the modification take?
The updates are done automatically.
If you change the DNS the propagation can take between 24/48 hours.

SERVICES:

How can I pay the renewal of a service which is already contracted?
To pay the renewal of a service you have to click on “Orders” or “Requests”. You have to look for the service you have to pay and once you have selected it choose the way of payment. By credit card the payment is immediate and totally safe, because the data you give is sent to the bank. If you choose transference we will have to wait to receive the receipt. If you have money on your available you can use it and that way the payment is quicker.

How can I contract a redirection plan for a domain?
To contract a redirection plan for a registered domain in Entorno, first of all the domain must have our DNS servers. If the domain already has them, you must click on “create redirection service”, where all the registered domains in your user account will appear. You must choose the domain, the years you want to contract it for and click on “continue”.
Then, you will have to click on Orders and pay the plan and it will be ready to be configured.

¿Cómo configurar un plan de redireccionamiento?
Para configurar un plan redireccionamiento tiene que ir a “Mis productos”, escoger el plan que quiere configurar pulsado en “editar contrato”. Le aparece un formulario para poder poner la dirección web donde tiene que apuntar el dominio. También puede redireccionar 5 correos con este dominio hacia a otros. Después pulse en “actualizar”.

How can I configure a redirection plan?
To configure a redirection plan you must click on “See/Modify Services” and choose the plan you want to edit by clicking on edit contract. A form will appear you will be able to put the web address where you want to include the domain. You can also redirect 5 emails with that domain to others. Then click on “Update”.

How can I contract an email or hosting plan for a registered domain?
To contract e-mail or hosting plan for a registered domain in Entorno, first of all the domain must have our DNS servers. If the domain already has them, you will have to choose the plan which covers up your necessities. Once you have decided click on “create service”, where all the registered domains in your user account will appear. You must choose the domain you want to assign to the DNS plan, the years you want to contract it for and clicks on “continue”. Then, you will have to click on “Orders” and pay the plan and briefly you will receive instructions for using it.

How can I change an actual plan to a superior?
To change an actual plan to a superior, first of all click on “See/Modify Services”, erase the actual contracted plan with that domain and then contract the new plan for that domain following the steps of “How to contract a hosting plan?”.

How can I renew a domain in advance?
If you want to renew a domain in advance, before the expiration date, you have to click on the field “Advanced Renewal”, look for the domain and accept it. Automatically it can be renewed following the previous operative.

How can I configure my domain DNS?
To configure your DNS servers of a registered domain in Entorno, first of all the domain must have our DNS servers. The DNS service is free for all domains registered on-line.
On the field “Domains Management”, on the left side of the domain you want to modify you will finde the following icon “Domain Configuration of DNS” click and the domain’s data will be shown and you will be able to configure the domain DNS servers.

What is the Private Whois?
Private Whois offers the possibility to clients of hiding their identity as domain holders. Personal data will be hidden and will avoid spam attacks, hackers or other types of fraud. This service can be used with the following domain extensions: .com, .net, .info, .biz, .org, .cc, .tv, .cat, .mobi, .tel, .mx and .cm.
If you want to contract the service enter the field “Private Whois”, select the domain and click on “Contract”.

REQUESTS AND ORDERS:

When is the request created?
Every action which is done for a domain like a registration, modification, transfer, etc. once it is validated it creates a corresponding request.

Is the request updated?
The requests change their status informing you in each moment of the state of your petition.

When can I pay a request?
When the status is PENDAP “Pending of Payment”.

How can I pay an order?
On the field “Orders” you will find the requests which are “PENDAP”, select the order you want to pay and click on “Pay”.

I haven’t finished the payment but the order appears “Con.” What can I do?
The state “Con” means “Conciliated”. This status is related to the payments done by “bank transfer”, if you click on the “eye” you will see all your transference details, like the concept you have to include while doing the payment and our bank account number.
If you have selected “Payment with Credit Card” and you haven’t finished the process the status will also be “Con”, if you click on the eye you will find the option “Cancel” in order to initiate the payment.

INVOICING:

What are the methods of payment?
The payment through your extranet can be done by:

Credit Card: through the safe way payment of “Caixa del Penedès”. The payment is automatic.

Bank Transference: you must indicate the reference code which we indicate on the payment and send us the payment receipt by fax to 935921445 or by email to: nic@entorno.es

What movements does a payment generate?
Once the payment has been conciliated, the amount of your request will remain “Retained”, as this amount of money us being used by Entorno to pay the corresponding registration. Two things can happen:
If the request is approved the movement will be closed “Payment”. If the request is not approved a new movement will be created named “Credited” which means that the amount of money which had been retained has been returned and added to your extranet deposit.

¿Cuándo se genera una factura?
Una vez el movimiento queda cerrado “Pago” el pedido queda pendiente para facturar. La facturación es automática y se genera cada tarde sobre las 16:30h.

When is the invoice generated?
Once the bill is generated you will find it on the field “Accounts Administration (Billing)” in PDF format, beside the corresponding movement.
You can also obtain your invoices on the field “Invoices List”.
If you have selected the option on your extranet your invoice will also be sent to your email address.

The invoice is not correct. How can I modify it?
Invoices are generated automatically and the data which appears is taken from the field “Invoice Data” of the user. If you want to modify the invoice you will have to update the invoice data which appears on this field and once it has been updated send us an email to nic@entorno.es requesting us to generate the invoice again.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:

On the field Accounts Administration you will find the Deposit Amount on the top of the page.
On the box “Deposit Amount” you must fill the amount of money you want to deposit and click on “Make” You will have to choose between two payment forms which are Credit Card or Bank Transfer. If you choose this last option you must send us the payment receipt by fax to 935921445 or by email to nic@entorno.es.

I have some money on my “deposit” but I don’t have enough. How can I increase it?
Calculate the difference (always counting the VAT) and introduce the quantity on the box “Deposit Amount” inside the field Accounts Administration and proceed to pay.
Take into account that the payment with credit card is automatic and that if you choose the Transfer option you must send us the payment receipt by fax to 935921445 or by email to nic@entorno.es. Once the payment is validated the amount of money will be added to your Deposit on your extranet.

What is the field “Users” used for?

On the field “Register User” fill in the data and assign a user and password. The option “See all the domains” is used if you really want the user to have access to all your extranet domains.

How do I assign one of my domains to one of my users?
On the field “Users List”, beside each user is the link “Assign Domains”, click on the corresponding link and you will obtain a list of all your domains, select the domain you wan to assign and click on “Assign”.

How do I erase one of my domains to one of my users?
On the field “Users List”, select the user and you will obtain all the domains assigned to the user, click on the icon which is on top of the domain “Erase” to erase it.
