Spectacular open registration for .me domains!

If anyone thought this was just another extensio with little interest from enterprises, trademarks or webmasters, we want to comment the number of registrations .me on its free phase.
More than 50,000 new domain names were registered in the first two days, as well as the 30000 domains which were applied in Sunrise and Land Rush periods.
The Top 10 Countries of .ME Registration by Percentage are the following:
1. United States 50 %
2. United Kingdom 11%
3. Germany 9%
4. Canada 5%
5. China 3%
6. France 3%
7. Netherlands 2%
8. Australia 1.5%
9. Israel 1%
10. Spain 1%
It is obvious that the domain has had a lot of demand from English Speaking countries because it can be used in the sense of talking about oneselve. But suprisingly, in spanish the domain has also got a lot of sense (abraza.me, quiere.me, espera.me,...) but the number of registrations has been less.
This means, that there are still a lot of generic domains .me in spanish which are available and can be really goof for web positioning, or funny and easy to remember while creating webs.
